My Weekend

Well my weekend was great but it did start off sort of crappy - I had to work :(

But Saturday afternoon was great, we went and had Pizza for lunch in Caringbah then we went to the national park - was a great day for it.

Sunday was even better, Clay and I had our joint birthday yum cha lunch followed by much mud cake! Was fabulous! Then we went and visited Clay's parents in Wollongong.

Very good weekend =D

Good Luck Chuck

Saw Good Luck Chuck last night at the movies and IT WAS HILARIOUS! I laughed the whole way through it - I seriously reccommend you go watch it!

Today is Clay's 32nd Birthday AND Melbourne Cup Day so he's very lucky, will be getting very pissed at lunch time! After I finish work i'm going to drive in to the City and pick him up and take him a Michel's Patisseri Mini Mud Cake too - and I might take a couple of beers for him for the car ride!

Not sure what we're doing tonight, but will deffinitely be going out to dinner somewhere. Will report back tomorrow with all the details hehe

My weekend

Friday night we didn't do much, just had take away and did some housework. Had the handyman come over and fix our intercom - now we can buzz people into our unit! YAY Oh I had a very nice sleep in yesterday. Woke up at 11am, rolled over and woke up Clay and we zombied down to the car and went to Yum Cha - best start to the weekend! We had almost everything we wanted and the green vegies in oyster sauce were soooo delish!

After Cha we hired a ute and drove down to Wollongong to pick up our second couch, fridge and coffee table. YAY we have more furniture! Couch still in garage but Uncle Dave will help us with that during the week. Will be great using a normal size fridge, not the retarded bar fridge.

Saturday night we feed Oliver and watched Star Wars Episode 1 and then Total Recall and went to bed way later than we should have.

Clay went into work on Sunday to fix a tap but I didn't wake up until 12, then we picked up Hakin and Andrianna from the train station and went to Audley for a bbq - was delish - the Weber Baby Q went fantastic! Great test run for next weekend's Birthday BBQ. Then we all got in a row boat and mucked around in the river for a few hours - sun was devine! All of us jumped in for a dip then just laid about in the sun, a fabulous way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

We drove the guys back to the train station then popped in to say welcome back to Dave and Amanda who just got back from Thailand. Both were very tired and sunburnt LOL but they both had a fantastic time.

Sunday night was spent watching TV and on the laptop (Ebay and Facebook) and this morning am feeling very relaxed! What a great weekend!!

So tired

Oh dragging my ass out of bed today was way too hard - I can't stay up as late as I used to. Wednesday night Clay and I went to poker and was a good night. In the tournament I came 8th and Clay came 4th - so both of us got lots of points. I wonder if i've moved back up to second position on the leader board? Then I played a sit-and-go game and came 4th. Got into bed around 12.30... very tired on Thursday.

Thursday night Clay and I went to Dad's new place to visit and have dinner, the place is awesome. Huge balcony, lots of light, heaps more room - very happy for them. Also dinner was fan-bloody-tastic: BBQ Chicken, Garlic Sauce, Humous, Tabouli, Chips, Lebanese Bread - My fave! Got to spend some time with Elena and Samah which was great fun - we went nuts with glitter is all i'm saying! lol

So this morning I look like shit and I feel like shit and i'm hungry. Looking forward to sleeping in until lunch time tomorrow!

Crap the present I ordered for him online hasn't come in the post yet! Friggen hell. I got him the Back to the Future Trilogy with special features disc, he loves those movies.

I'm hungry

Well it's 11:36am and my tummy is rumbling already. I have no idea what to have for lunch but i'm thinking that maybe Woolworths can help me. Maybe tuna and creamed corn on toast... yeah that sounds good.

Lets see what else can I ramble about... oh the weekend after next is Clay and my joint birthday bbq in Audley - hopefully the weather will be warm and sunny! Lats night we bought all the plates and forks and stuff... chips, drinks... now all we need to do it wait for the day and get the meat. Oh that reminds me i'm going to place an order for a michels patisserie mud cake *drool*

I'm looking forward to tomorrow night - Poker at the Poker Dome in Coogee. Normally about 40 people come each week to participate in the tournament and Kelly is coming 1st - I was coming second but got smacked down into 3rd place last week. Bastards.

Uncle Dave and Amanda are still in Thailand, poontanging it up. I go over to feed Oliver and he's super friendly until he's eaten, and then I don't exist. But I hang there anyways, cos he's missing them. I've been watching South Park Season 10 and last night I saw the Warcraft Episode - OMFG was so funny! There was uber pwnage!

Righto - Back to work I guess til I think of something else to type about...

My very own blog

Wow, I finally did it. My Uncle mentioned I should start one of these up, so here I am!

My name is Mandy and I am 3 week away from turning 23 years old. I currently live in Sutherland, NSW with my Fiance Clay. We have been together for a little over 2 years now.

I work in a very small subsidiary of a very large company - close to home, which is great cos I normally wake up at 8am (My whole working life I have wanted to work close to home). Tomorrow marks my one year anniversary with this company (uumm... yay?!) and I bet I'll receive no trophy for putting up with moronic customers. We get a lot of tire kickers (people who want to waste your time picking your brain but won't buy anything). Suffice to say, I hate customers.

Moving right along, I might tell you a bit about my family...

I am the youngest of two girls - My only full blood sibling is Kelly, 24.

Mum and Dad are not together - Haven't been since I was 2 or 3. Mum (Donna) is currently is a relationship with a really cool guy named Vic, and I have never seen her so happy. Vic has two daughters of his own (who both adore Mum). Dad (Andrew) is married to Amne (8 years now) and I have a step Sister (Samah, 19) and a half Sister (Elena, 5).

Growing up I lived with Mum and visited my Grandparents (Dad's side) almost every second weekend. I like to think that alot of my creativity came from Nan (Pam) - she was always doing something interesting - planting bulbs, knitting clothes for my barbie dolls, massive jigsaw puzzles etc.

Another person who impacted my life while growing up is my Uncle Dave (Mum's brother). I'm sure my interest of computers was helped along by Dave. He introduced me to the computer game called Quake and showed me how to design my own game levels (however, mine were always a little bit lax). I could sit for hours watching Dave design his levels.
